Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs
I have the honour to address to you the follow
ing reply to the Note which you were good enough
to address to me on January 23rd last on the
subject of the sinking of the s.8. "Irene" in
Biss Bay on October 20th, 1927,

that Your Excellency's predecessor addressed to
me a Note on the subject on December 22nd, 1927
to which no reply had been received.
